There are 10 types of Flexible Specialty in Evony now. Some Epic Historic Generals can equip these Flexible Specialties to get great buffs and become stronger. Unlike the original three Specialties, the Flexible Specialty can be freely equipped or taken off. In this case, you can change the Flexible Specialty if you find a more suitable one. Therefore, we need to learn what kind of general should use which Flexible Specialty.

Flexible Specialty Feature Introduction
A general can only unlock the Flexible Specialty feature when the first three Specialties of the general have reached the max level.
Evony Flexible SpecialtyEach Flexible Specialty has five distinct qualities: green, blue, purple, orange, and golden, each comprising 20 levels. The attainment of the maximum level in each quality unlocks a star. The cumulative level cap for each Flexible Specialty is set at 100.
When you get a Flexible Specialty, you can “Upgrade” its level first. Upon reaching Lv.20 in one quality, progression necessitates a quality “Promotion“.
- Upgrade: consume Runestone
- Promotion: consume the same Specialty Fragment
You can get Specialty Fragments through the disassembly of identical Flexible Specialties. In particular, the Specialty Fragments of Battle-Tested Flexible Specialty can be obtained directly. You can see the details in the final part of the article.

Get Flexible Specialty from Evony Star Goddess' Box EventJoin the Star Goddess' Box event in the event center and choose the “Star Box“. Use the Star Key to open it, and then you will have a chance to get the Flexible Specialty Box. Open the box to receive one random Flexible Specialty from Piercing Arrows, Precision Arrows, Heavy Legions, Breaker Legions, Forceful Cavalry, Guerilla Cavalry, Siege Ballista, Battering Ballista, and Iron Curtain.
You can obtain the Star Key in the event packages, including the Senior Star Sale package and Super Star Sale package.
There are 36 (12*3) Flexible Specialty Boxes in the prize pool of a Star Box. If all the rewards in the prize pool of a box are drawn, the box will be refreshed, but it needs a certain cooldown time.
